The bleak weather of January and February finally gave way to the first few sunny days that the students had seen this year in mid-March. Once he had decided that Lucas's Will was strong enough, Professor Morrix began teaching Lucas more about the many, less obvious applications of external magic, such as sustained flight by supporting oneself with particles of their element. The professor also examined Lucas's shadow realm of sorts and concluded that he could not provide any insight on how he could use it.
